The Masks and Bandits is the first book of this novel series B. A. Steele has been working on since high school. After piecing together the massive web of story lines between the events and characters over the years, she has been developing and improving the dynamics of the entire narrative. These next few years will be spent executing this five-book-long saga.

Novel Summary

Catherine Collins is the daughter of one of the most wealthy Gatekeepers in the United States set in 2042 and some years after. Her half-brother returns home after serving in the military and the family drama continues. Catherine becomes more interested in the average life when a group of three, mystery terrorists, referred to as the Bandits, start causing havoc across the countries classes and systems.

Catherine grows more irate when her father and other leaders do not care to help the Bandit problem that's not affecting them. But that's when a group of four heroes, deemed the Masks, disrupt and put an end to these Bandit attacks, altering her original perspective of what's real and true in the world.
